Stephanie Marwil is a Salt Lake City photographer drawn to people, movement, and the places that bring them together. Her work moves between portraits, brand imagery, and the outdoors, with an eye for photographs that invite you into the moment, the expression, the landscape, the way the light falls. With over 15 years behind the camera, she brings experience and curiosity to each shoot, leaving room for play and the moments no one could have planned.

 

As a photographer and yoga teacher, Stephanie spends much of her life paying attention to how people move and connect. That perspective carries into her work, whether she’s photographing activewear in the mountains or helping someone settle into a portrait session. She offers direction while giving people room to be themselves, finding the photograph through movement, conversation, and a little experimentation.

 

Her background in studio and product photography includes work alongside art directors, producers, and stylists. She enjoys the shared process of bringing an idea to life, from the details that make a product stand out to the people and surroundings that give it a story.

 

Outside of work, Stephanie is often on a trail with her dog, Bella, teaching yoga, or out the door before sunrise with her camera. She brings a joie de vivre to her life and her work, a curiosity about people and places, and a willingness to see where the day takes her. Finding that perfect light gets her adrenaline going. Even after 15 years, it’s a thrill that keeps her reaching for her camera.
